BMW E92 M3 to compete in the 2024 Australian Tarmac Championship.

Starting life as a 2008 model BMW E92 M3 with the blistering S65 4.0L V8 powerplant developing 330kw and revving to an impressive 8600rpm with dual clutch DCT 7 speed Getrag gearbox and LSD differential. This engine has been blueprinted to exacting factory specifications with all new rod and main bearings with ARP studs.

 

Running the full Tuningworx Ti Pro RACE Titanium exhaust system, weighing a total of 14kg versus over 45kg for the OEM exhaust system as well as the Tuningworx front braking system consisting of Tuningworx fully floating aluminium hats, AP rotors and AP 5000R callipers for a total of 11.9kg, Tuningworx titanium wheel studs and nuts at 260g for a set of front and rears versus 1.22kg for OEM. A carbon fibre intake system from the intake plenum to the airbox. Bilstein D16 Damptronic suspension, monoball suspension and full aluminium under body protection. Along with all this a Lithiumax Carbon Series RACE10+ Bluetooth battery unit with OEM mounting kit for a total of 4.6kg is also fitted compared to 22kg for the OEM AGM battery.
